![]() ![]() I shudder at the thought of taking another sip! This my friends, is a disaster of a drink! If you have guessed that the review stops here, you are absolutely correct. Disgusting, disgusting, disgusting! The taste mirrors the smell, and the lingering flavor left in my mouth literaly makes me want to rinse. So I brace myself for the inevitable and take a swig. The top has been removed and a sickly smell that is cross between low grade cough syrup and cheap bubble gum greets my nose. Redline Xtreme is a high-caffeine energy drink that is made to give you a significant energy boost right away. According to the FDA recommendation, an adult can have up to 400mg of caffeine in a single day, and consuming. Redline Xtreme is a pretty strong energy drink since it has a high amount of caffeine, so if you have a slow caffeine metabolism might not want to have this much caffeine at once. Admonitions like, "Not for use by individuals under the age of 18." "Do not use if pregnant of contemplating becoming pregnant or nursing," and "Do not use if more than fifteen pounds overweight." These statements not only frighten me but make me wonder why this product is sold at all. Redline Xtreme has 316mg of caffeine in a single can. Also of note is the lengthy and I do mean lengthy, warning label which adorns the back of the bottle. The orange almost tastes like orange juice, but I prefer the grape. It’s perfect for my workouts The grape is delicious, but I’m not a fan of the fruit punch. It gives me the same power as a cup of coffee, but it also hydrates me better and provides nutrients. ![]() Red Bull Blue Edition is a high-intensity energy drink that claims to meet the energy requirements of the majority of people. ![]() If I had to rate it, I’d give it a seven out of ten. The particular flavor at hand is "triple berry" and has a lengthy ingredient list comprised of stuff I can't pronounce. Zipfizz provides moderately long-lasting energy. The Red Bull Blue Edition Energy Drink contains 160 calories, 114 milligrams of caffeine, 38 grams of sugar, and 41 grams of carbs. Ingredients include carbonated water, fructose corn syrup, sucralose, caffeine, and more. Drawn to its bright red bottle and promise of razor sharp reaction, (no joke it says that on the front of the label!) I spend more money than I should, and cart this unusual brew back to my abode. Upon inspection I notice a part of that label that says: "University proven 75% faster reaction time! A potent 13% increase in energy! An amazing 15% increase in energy!" The label has already made this drink cheesy, and I can't help but be amused by these corny and ridiculous claims. Mountain Dew Kickstart contains a blend of real fruit juice and caffeine to get you pumped up. Product names can speak volumes, and Redline Xtreme is the name of today's choice. ![]()
